In the academic year 2024-2025, our seminary has 67 students from 18 dioceses and religious congregations, comprising 62 resident students and 5-day scholars. The Institute consists of 36 teachers: 19 permanent and 17 non-permanent. Of the permanent teachers, 8 reside on campus, serving in roles such as Rector, Vice-Rector, Spiritual Director, Director of the Institute, Coordinator of Philosophy and Theology, and group mentors in addition to their teaching ministry. Non-resident professors conduct classes according to the established schedule. Each academic year commences with a five-day formation program for all teaching staff. Our Institute includes three religious sisters, along with three Spiritual Directors—two resident and one non-resident—providing spiritual guidance. The support staffs comprise two lay librarians and 12 domestic personnel responsible for reception, culinary services, agricultural work, housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation.

The Holy Trinity Institute of Theology is committed to the formation of clergy and lay leaders grounded in the sacred disciplines of philosophy, theology, and pastoral care. Through rigorous academic study in philosophy, students are equipped to engage deeply with the Church’s intellectual tradition, while theological courses cultivate a profound understanding of Sacred Scripture and doctrine. Pastoral training provides essential skills for compassionate ministry, preparing students to serve faithfully and selflessly. Under the guidance of learned faculty, the Institute fosters a harmonious environment where faith and reason flourish, inspiring graduates to serve as Christ-centered leaders in the modern world

Dear Formators, Teachers, and Seminarians in Formation,

In the sacred mission of forming men for the priesthood, we stand at the threshold of a divine calling—an invitation to serve the Church and the world with hearts that mirror Christ’s own. To the formators and teachers, your vocation is not merely one of instruction but one of witness and accompaniment. The seminarians under your care look to you not only for knowledge but also for an example of how to embody a life rooted in faith, humility, and integrity. You help them see the face of Christ through your words, actions, and silent presence, inspiring them to pursue the path of discipleship with courage and conviction.

To the seminarians, remember that your time in formation is a unique period of grace and transformation. Here, you are not only learning but also deepening your relationship with God. Allow yourselves to be molded by His hands, trusting that every moment—whether joyful or challenging—serves to prepare you for the demands of the priesthood. Seek always to cultivate a heart that is compassionate and understanding, one that draws near to others with mercy and gentleness, following the example of the Good Shepherd.

As we journey together, let us remember that formation is a shared endeavor, a commitment to building a community of faith, hope, and love. May the Spirit guide each of us, that we might grow in wisdom, holiness, and zeal for the Gospel, prepared to serve God’s people with humble and joyful hearts

In Christ’s peace,

Fr. Sahaya Thatheus Thomas
