Theology
The theological studies deepen understanding of God’s revelation and the Church’s teachings, fostering a personal and communal relationship with God and the Church; thus, equipping seminarians to preach effectively, to administer the sacraments and right providing pastoral care to God’s people. Through rigorous study, future priests learn to engage with contemporary issues and respond to the spiritual and pastoral needs of their communities. Thus, theology forms them into faithful shepherds, guiding the faithful in their journey of faith and discipleship.
Courses
Introduction to Sacred Scripture and Inspiration -
Examines the Bible as the Word of God, the unity of the Old and New Testaments, and modern exegetical approaches.
Books of Law – The Pentateuch -
Studies the Pentateuch, covering the Documentary Hypothesis, authorship, composition, structure, and theological themes of each book.
The Books of Prophets -
Focuses on the writings of the prophets in the Old Testament, their messages, and their role in the history of Israel.
New Testament Theology -
Analyzes the theological teachings of the New Testament, including the life and teachings of Jesus and the letters of Paul.
Books of Law – The Pentateuch -
Examines Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, exploring their theological themes.
Introduction to Sacred Scripture and Inspiration -
