The seminary community gathered to celebrate the feast of St. John Marie Vianney, the patron saint of priests, on Saturday, 3rd August, 2024. This day was marked by the initiation to candidacy for the diaconate and the vestition ceremony. During the ceremony, Brothers Rinku, Sahil, Samuel, and Vargas of the Diocese of Jalandhar were officially initiated into candidacy for the diaconate, taking a significant step in their journey towards priesthood. Brothers Honey, Nathaniel, and Shijo FMJ received their cassocks, symbolizing their commitment to priestly vocation. The ceremony was presided over by Bishop Agnelo Rufino Gracias, the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Jalandhar, who also presided over the solemn Eucharist. The seminary community rejoices in this milestone and continues to support these brothers as they prepare for their future roles in the Church.
