As part of of the Jubilee Year 2025, the Seminary organized an insightful seminar on Dei Verbum, the Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation, which took place in the seminary auditorium on August 22, 2024. The seminar was led by Fr. Mathew Palachuvattil, a Scriptural scholar and a respected visiting professor of Holy Trinity Institute of Theology (HTIT), who provided a comprehensive exploration of the significance of Dei Verbum and the role of God’s Word in Christian life. Fr. Palachuvattil emphasized how the sacred scriptures serve as a guiding force, nurturing spiritual growth and grounding faith in divine revelation.

The session included a time for group discussion, allowing seminarians to share reflections and deepen their understanding of the topics covered. This interactive element fostered a communal appreciation for the Word of God and encouraged participants to consider how they might bring its teachings into their own lives and future ministries. This seminar marked another key step in HTRMS’ preparations for Jubilee 2025. It was a clarion call to seminarians to deepen their commitment to the spiritual foundations laid out by the Second Vatican Council and look forward to celebrating the Jubilee as bearers of hope and faith.
