The much-anticipated Annual Sports and Cultural Fest 2024, held from November 4th to 8th, brought a vibrant display of talents, teamwork, and spirited competition. The event, which showcased a blend of sportsmanship and cultural expression, was a grand success. The inauguration ceremony on November 4th was graced by the presence of Fr. Betson, the parish priest of St. Joseph Church, Gakhlan, who was the chief guest.. Addressing the gathering, Fr. Betson encouraged the participants to embrace teamwork, discipline, and creativity, emphasizing the importance of holistic development. The seminary brothers were divided into four dynamic teams: Ignis Flames, Champion Chasers, Dragon Warriors, and Nikeans. Over the course of five days, these teams competed fiercely in a variety of sports and cultural events, ranging from athletics and team sports to drama, music, and dance. The grounds were alive with energy, cheers, and camaraderie as each team showcased their skills and determination.

The fest concluded with a closing ceremony on November 8th, presided over by Fr. Jacob, the Rector of St. John Mary Vianney Minor Seminary, the chief guest. In his address, Fr. Jacob lauded the organizers and participants for their efforts in making the event a memorable one.The Nikeans emerged victorious, claiming the top spot in the overall competitions. Their stellar performance across various categories earned them well-deserved applause and admiration.The Annual Sports and Cultural Fest 2024 not only celebrated talents and hard work but also fostered unity and a sense of community among brothers.
